How to clean derma roller?

Before you begin using your Dermaroller, it is always important to clean & disinfect your derma rollers even if they are brand new. This ensures that the microneedles are free of any bacteria or dust that could potentially cause an infection.

Clean and disinfect your Derma Roller.
Disinfect your derma rollers by soaking them into a disinfectant alcohol (60 – 90% rubbing alcohol, methanol alcohol or isopropyl alcohol) for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Use the disinfection chamber provided in the Advanced Derma Roller System to disinfect your derma roller. First place the derma roller with or without the handle into the disinfection chamber, then fill it up with disinfection alcohol. Make sure that the alcohol completely covers the microneedles for complete disinfection.

You may wish to disinfect other derma roller heads while concurrently using a different sized derma roller so as to save time. The disinfection chamber is suitable to hold derma roller heads with or without the handle. For example, if you are using the 600 microneedle derma roller, you can soak your 240 microneedle derma roller head in the disinfection chamber while derma rolling. In this way, when you are ready to change your derma roller head, your 240 microneedle derma roller is ready to be used straight away!

How to switch derma roller heads?

Using a simple twist and turn method, you can effortlessly switch between the different derma roller heads.

How to derma roll?

Step 1. Disinfecting your derma roller. Refer to the above paragraphs on how to disinfect your derma roller.

Step 2. Cleanse your face and/or body to remove dirt and other residues that can irritate the skin when the micro needles get in contact with your skin. We always want to begin derma rolling on a clean skin surface for the best results.

Step 3. Divide into small sections: It is recommended to derma roll in small section of your skin to ensure that they are sufficiently treated. Start by dividing the skin area into small sections of about a quarter of your palm size. Only change section once you have fully derma rolled a particular section using the 4 Directions Technique (see below).

Step 4. Using the 4 Directions Technique: Derma roll section by section to fully cover the desired area to be treated. For each section, complete dermarolling in 4 different directions (check diagram below) before proceeding to another section. For example, derma roll up and down 4 times, followed by left and right 4 times, followed by diagonally top right to bottom left 4 times and lastly diagonally top left to bottom right 4 times. After that, you can move on to another section and do the same steps.
